These were taken at the Tower of David Museum in the Old City. The city is busy with everyone preparing for the holidays.

Thursday is Rosh Hashana which begins the Jewish year of 5768. "Shana Tov" is a phrase I have started to recognize as a Happy New Year.

Thursday also marks the beginning of Ramadan. The Month of Ramadan is also when it is believed the Quran was sent down from heaven.
